Hall of Fame Quarterback Warren Moon Sued for Sexual Harassment

Former Seattle Seahawks and Hall of Fame quarterback Warren Moon is being sued for sexual harassment according to a report

The lawsuit lists Moon as president and co-owner of the Irvine, California-based company.

The Seahawks accepted his request for a leave of absence and will replace Moon with Brock Huard and Dave Wyman. On the same trip, according to the lawsuit, Moon pulled off Haskell's bathing suit while on the beach, despite her pleas with him to stop.

That arrangement? Sleeping in the same bed as Moon on business trips, while wearing thong underwear at his request, as well as showering with the door open and allowing Moon to come and go from the bathroom while she was nude. Haskell claims she was demoted in October for complaining about Moon's sexual advances.

Moon spent 17 years in the National Football League, two of those with Seattle. The lawsuit alleges that Moon acknowledged drugging Haskell because he thought she wasn't "having fun".

Moon, who played collegiately at the University of Washington, is in his 14th season as an analyst on Seahawks radio broadcasts.

Moon was Pac-8 co-Player of the Year in 1977 when he led the Huskies to the conference title and a win over MI in the Rose Bowl, in which he was MVP.

Moon spent six seasons in the CFL, and led the Edmonton Eskimos to five straight Grey Cup titles, while throwing for 21,228 yards and 144 touchdowns.

In May 1995, a Vikings cheerleader sued Moon and accused him of sexual harassment, alleging that he offered her cash for sex. Moon then had some success with the Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks before retiring as a backup for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2000 at the age of 44.

Moon was accused of striking his then wife, Felicia Moon, on the head with an open hand and choking her to the point that she nearly lost consciousness before she escaped from the couple's home in July 1995. Ultimately, Felicia Moon declined to press charges, but authorities charged Moon with assault anyway. The couple divorced in 2001 to end a 20-year marriage.

Additionally, Haskell alleges Moon once ripped her clothes off despite her objections. She was expecting to further her career in the sports marketing industry.

"Whenever [the assistant] expressed reservations about these outrageous "job duties, ' Moon insisted this was "just the way it is, ' and threatened [the assistant] that unless she was 'comfortable" with him, he'd 'find someone else who was.' Moon insisted these 'requirements" were part of the job, and made clear that [the assistant]'s employment depended on her acceptance and compliance with Moon's lascivious behavior, demands and orders".
