Bridge Constructor Portal will blend the gameplay of creating physics-accurate bridges with the wacky sci-fi setting of the hugely popular Portal puzzle games. While everyone is waiting for Valve to release another sequel, Headup Games has announced 'Bridge Constructor Portal'. I think you could make a strong argument that Portal is the flawless video game, and the world-building that was done in Portal 2 has left me absolutely starving for anything new involving Aperture Science. This new stand-alone title will fully embraces the Portal license, one of the most beloved video game franchises of the last decade. I honestly couldn't tell you. Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch releases are also planned, but are slated to launch in early 2018 instead. The entire gimmick of the Portal games revolves around using a portal gun which can shoot out a blue portal and an orange portal. Additionally, GLaDOS singing Jonathan Coulton's "Still Alive" is.

It probably isn't where anybody expected Portal to go after Portal 2 and VR playground The Lab, but sometimes you've gotta build a few bridges to get where you're really going. Success will require them to not just act cooperatively, but to think cooperatively.

Bridge Constructor Portal hits PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android on December 20.
