Week 14 New Orleans Saints Keys to Victory

Report: Saints RB Alvin Kamara Being Evaluated For Concussion

With their road game against the Atlanta Falcons just two days away, the New Orleans Saints are continuing to show what they are made of.

The Saints (9-3) boast the league's most dynamic duo. Drew Brees had another fine performance against the Panthers and passed Peyton Manning for second all-time in career completions on a 32-yard play to Michael Thomas in the middle of the fourth quarter.

"Boom and Zoom" is Ingram's favorite nickname for the backfield tandem, though he went on to say it's not entirely accurate. "We can not wait to be in front of you as the battle for the Division is at hand!" "Both of us have the complete package".

At 7-5, the Falcons sit on the outside looking in on the last wild-card spot.

Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan knows that when the two teams meet Thursday night, the emotion and competition that comes with this division game will be no different from previous years. Not only did the Saints sweep the Panthers for the first time in six years, but they also kept sole possession of the NFC South lead heading into the final four games of the season. Atlanta would need to win out and hope the Saints drop their last three to bring any tiebreakers into play. I don't expect the Saints defense to replicate Minnesota's performance but after Philadelphia's loss last Sunday, they now have a golden opportunity to win here and challenge for the NFC title and that will surely light a fire under them.

There are noticeable chunks of empty seats throughout games, and much of the crowd seems to be spending its time gawking at the shiny new digs rather than cheering on the Falcons.

"My bigger question is how the (heck) did we get into third-and-12 and third-and-17 and third-and-13", Quinn said.

Personally, I think these are the best Color Rush uniforms we've seen this year.

Quinn even tweeted out a form letter for fans to use if they needed an excuse to report late for work Friday. The Falcons have the sixth-best pass defense in the league, but they're giving up a 27th ranked 4.3 yards per carry on the ground.

See where the Panthers rank prior to Week 14 as they begin a stretch run to make the playoffs. Sensational rookie cornerback Marshon Lattimore has missed the past two weeks with an ankle injury. "Because if you spend too much time paying attention to Julio, there are a lot of other weapons that they have - whether it be the running backs or some of the other receivers, tight ends - that they can utilize to make it hard on you".

"[Jones] is going to get his catches and they're going to try to feature him in any possible way, and we were just aware of it".

A week after Julio Jones caught 12 balls for 253 yards and a pair of touchdowns, the Falcons star was essentially shut out by the Vikings defense, catching just two passes for 24 yards.
