Airtel revises Rs 349 Rs 549 prepaid plans to offer more data benefits

Currently, Vodafone and Idea too offer 1.5 GB of data for about Rs 350 but with this, they too are likely to hike the benefits under the plans to retain customer. From Rs 19 to Rs 9,999, Jio has many tariff plans for its subscribers. Since the rollout of Reliance Jio's 4G services, telcos are updating and rolling out new prepaid plans to stay relevant in the current competitive environment. Now after the revision of the plan, Airtel is offering 3GB of data to its users. Reliance Jio which is already offering 4G data with free voice calling benefits to mobile customers, it has also launched a low-priced Wi-Fi router, JioFi, which is available at Rs. 999 and Rs. 1,999. Bharti Airtel, Vodafone and Jio all offer 1GB or more data per day in various prepaid recharge plans. It's worth mentioning that the revised benefits may not be available to all Airtel prepaid users, and these plans may continue to deliver earlier benefits. It offers 125GB 4G data along with unlimited voice calling and SMS benefits.

Now in Airtel's Rs 349 plan, the company has increased its daily FUP limit and now the users of the company can enjoy 2GB data limit per day. Alongside the data offer, both the plans also provide unlimited voice calling benefit to any network. Now, with the ₹349 plan, Airtel is offering 2 GB data per day to its prepaid customers for a period of 28 days.

It is noteworthy that this for the second time that Bharti Airtel has revised its Rs 349 plan in a month. However after the revising (the first one) Airtel increased the data offering from 1GB to 1.5GB per day.

Now the situation is such that Airtel, Idea and Vodafone have learned the ways of cheap plan, unlimited data and voice calls to lure their customers just like Rjio. As for now, it is offering around 5 open market tariff plans including - Rs 199, Rs 349, Rs 448, Rs 549, and Rs 799.

Airtel is trying its level best to match up to Jio in nearly every way possible. Customers will get instant cashback of Rs 300 to their digital wallets and cash back vouchers of Rs 50 denomination that can be used for recharges of Rs. 309 & above plans or Rs. 91 & above data add-ons, via MyJio app.
