God of War Release Date PS4 Leaked Thanks To PlayStation Network Store

Sony might have just revealed the God of War release date

PlayStation America has listed God Of War on the PlayStation Store with a March 22nd release date.

According to Google Cache, the PlayStation Store listed God of War with a placeholder release date of December 31, 2018 release date up until December 3. While there have been some hints regarding when players can expect to get their hands on the game, it looks like the PlayStation Store may have accidentally revealed the game's release date.

Sony has planned an elite and high-end profile of games to be released as the New Year approaches. This has resulted in much speculation with fans coming onto all platforms and making inferences as to whether this news is real or fake.

Update: I just confirmed that the North American PlayStation Store is also showing the same date. According to the page, the game is scheduled to be released on March 22, 2018. They've historically preferred either Tuesdays or Fridays.

It is still too early to call this game, but what we've seen is as promising as any of the other strong God of War games. Sony may be skipping traditional practices in order to have the game release on the 13th anniversary of the series but we'll likely hear more this weekend. Are any of you looking forward to God of War next year?

The sequel/reboot, God of War, is one of the most anticipated PS4 releases scheduled for 2018.

So now God of War is back and with it comes fresh new ideas.

Second, the month of March is named after Mars, the Roman god of war, and Sony has timed every console release of God of War with that in mind.
