Fallen Kingdom' Featurette Takes Us Behind the Scenes of the New Film

The new Jurassic World 2 footage gives the people what they want... more Jeff Goldblum!

In addition to offering an extended look at the production of the film, the featurette also reveals a ton of new footage, including our first look at Jeff Goldblum returning as Dr. Ian Malcolm.

Previously, the Thor Ragnarok actor said that his chaotician character from Jurassic Park will not be too happy with the use and misuse of technology. The plot revolves around a volcanic eruption on the Isle Nublar (AKA the island with all the dinosaurs), which forces Owen Grady (Pratt) and Claire Dearing (Howard) to do everything they can to save the prehistoric creatures.

The full trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom premieres on Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017.

Claire's founded an organisation, Dinosaur Protection Group, and they're finding a way to get these dinosaurs off the island.

These two trailers really were a tease and has left us wanting more. Colin Trevorrow's last movie successfully brought us back to the Jurassic Park universe and was arguably the best Jurassic Park movie since Steven Spielberg's original Jurassic Park.

The featurette takes viewers onto the set of the upcoming sequel and features Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jeff Goldblum, director J.A. Bayona, and several animatronic dinosaurs. But Bryce Dallas Howard knows: the toilet is the worst place to hide when you're in the middle of a dino disaster.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is expected to hit theaters June 22.

Malcolm's very on the nose line "Here I am talking about dinosaurs again" signals his return to the franchise, but he appears to not be involved in the main crux of the story.

The short clip called "Run" serves as a teaser for the full trailer coming later this week, and it is just a quarter of a minute long.
