Curry Out for a Couple Weeks

Stephen Curry was ruled out of Golden State's next game against the Charlotte Hornets but it is not clear when the National Basketball Association star will return, the team said on Tuesday (Wednesday in Manila).

A Golden State Warriors team missing its leading scorer in Steph Curry will still present quite a challenge for the hometown Charlotte Hornets when the two sides collide on Wednesday night. An MRI in Charlotte revealed that the point guard had suffered no structural damage. He rolled it after stepping on E'twaun Moore's foot while trying to go for a steal. At the time, several announcers felt Warriors coach Steve Kerr could have subbed Curry out of the game since Golden State were already assured of victory. That being said, The Vertical additionally reported that Curry is slated to undergo an MRI on his "very swollen" right ankle Tuesday.

Curry left the arena on crutches after Monday's game.

If I were a betting man, I'd say that Curry will be back for their Christmas Day matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Curry is averaging 26.3 points, 6.6 assists and 5.1 rebounds this season. Stay tuned for the latest Stephen Curry injury update.
