Ubisoft Giving Away Two Free PC Games This Month

A small tease

It is, somewhat confusingly, the sixth title in the Assassin's Creed series, and the first in the series with a naval focus. You've got until December 11th to grab it.

Well, now it seems that the crossover favor is being returned. Though I must admit, I'm looking forward to riding a big yellow bird around the desert the most.

The developers of Assassin's Creed Origins are cooking up some interesting stuff for December.

Ubisoft revealed what awaits players with the Assassin's Creed: Origins December update, including a new difficulty and new mode, while teasing the pending arrival of a feathered friend to the franchise. The feature, which can be activated based on preference, will allow the game to scale enemy levels based on the player's level.

In "Horde Mode" players will enter an arena to test out their mettle against some foes, while in "Trials of the Gods", the player will have a chance to face off three brand new gods. The first one is Horde Mode in the Here Comes a New Challenger event quest.

The final god of the god trio will also be available to battle this month, with the warrior goddess Sekhmet being added to the game. The Gladiator Items Pack includes the Spaniard's Armor, the Palladium Shield, Hercules' Gladius, Labrys and Neptune's Grasp. "We recommend Level 32 or higher", says Ubisoft. Ubisoft is keeping quiet on the specifics for now, but teased that it will be "a flawless fit for the bath towel outfit".

One of the best side bonuses of modern PC gaming is the fact that new games tend to just materialize in your digital distribution account of choice.
