The Eagles Map Out 2018 North American Tour Dates

Minneapolis as Margaritaville Jimmy Buffett Eagles to Perform at Target Field in June

The upcoming string of dates will find the Eagles taking on a run of stadium shows, some with Jimmy Buffet, some with James Taylor and some with Chris Stapleton. The first time Buffett played an outdoor show in MInneapolis was in 1975 at Parade Stadium. Opening acts will only play the stadium shows.

The next chapter of the tour will host 12 concert dates, and five of those dates, including the kick-off show in Chicago, will be literally an evening with The Eagles. Other locations will include Arlington, Texas, Denver, Nashville, Orlando, Boston, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C.

The Eagles - those classic-rocking Californians - seemed doomed following the 2016 death of founding member Glenn Frey. Making things more interesting is a lineup shuffle for the Eagles: Joining longtime members Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmidt are multi-instrumentalist and vocalist extraordinaire Vince Gill, and Deacon Frey, son of the late Eagles Co-Founder Glenn Frey.

The Eagles are heading back on tour next year, and they're pulling out all the stops, especially when it comes to musical guests.

"I think we're gonna be really good", Walsh said.

Eagles fans on Twitter were excited about the tour.
