Fort Bend Owner Of Anti-Trump Bumper Sticker Is Now Selling Them

Texas Woman with ‘F**k Trump’ Sticker adds new Message ‘F**k Troy Nehls

Karen Fonseca's truck's original message boldly stated, "F*** Trump and f*** you for voting for him".

The Fort Bend County sheriff posted the sign on Facebook and asked users to identify the owners to remove it - or face a disorderly-conduct charge for driving it. The swear word isn't censored on the stickers. She continued, "We had been thinking about it and decided, you know, Troy didn't think twice when he went ahead and put the Facebook post up and exposed me and my family", referring to Sheriff Nehls' post which he later removed due to threats.

"The Sheriff made the post on his Personal page". She celebrated her freedom in the most epic way imaginable - by trolling the sheriff with a sassy AF decal for her truck.

The sheriff deleted the social media post after a free speech firestorm ensued.

Met with a swift outcry that the sticker, while clearly distasteful, does not violate the law, Nehls' department instead arrested and jailed Fonseca on an unrelated charge: a months-old outstanding warrant from another county, reportedly for using a false form of identification two years ago. We don't have an investigation or an indictment until July 2017. The pickup belongs to her husband, Mike. "People abuse the badge, and in my opinion, money talks". And here we are, back to the beginning, with a bigger, bolder truck sticker. "I have no regrets".

An attorney with the American Civil Liberties Union is threatening a lawsuit against Sheriff Nehls over the matter, the Houston Chronicle reported Monday.

"A lot of females say I wish I had the balls to do that", she said.

Nehls formed an exploratory committee in February to consider a run in Texas' 22nd Congressional District.

The story went viral and sparked a debate over free speech, with even the ACLU weighing in. "I feel it was gone about the wrong way and the sticker is appropriate", Fonseca said.

She and her children are selling the now infamous "F-Trump" bumper stickers.

Fonseca has since added a new sticker that reads "F-- Troy Nehls and f-- you for voting for him". The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office told KHOU that it would issue a statement on Monday after it reviewed the press conference.
