Rain chances this week

Ridgefield had around 3 inches, with southern CT areas got from a dusting to a half inch. Nothing significant expected, with a high temperature near 40 degrees.

On Monday night, areas like Danbury, New Milford and Oxford will see the fifth consecutive evening of below-freezing temperatures. Cloudy with a low around 56.

Friday, Nov. 17 - A chance of showers before 10 a.m. Rain chances increase Tuesday night. Cloudy, with a high near 42. ESE winds will be light blowing under 10 miles per hour throughout most of the day. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. South wind 8 to 11 miles per hour. Mostly cloudy with a high near 66. North wind around 7 miles per hour.

Monday night into early Tuesday morning expect partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures. North wind 3 to 6 miles per hour.

Friday: Mostly sunny with a high near 77. South wind 6 to 11 miles per hour becoming north, northeast in the morning. Cloudy with a high near 57. It looks warm enough for rain in most of New England, although it could be snow in the mountains on Saturday and doing on Sunday.

Thursday: A 20 percent chance of showers.

Thursday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 58.

Wednesday night: Mostly cloudy with a low around 52.

Forecasters expect near seasonal temps in the 30s 40s for most of the week with showers possible Wednesday, otherwise dry. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent. Mostly sunny, with a high near 75.
