Noctis from Final Fantasy XV is joining TEKKEN 7 next year

Tekken 7 Noctis DLC

A few hours ago, it's been confirmed that Noctis Lucis Caelum will be the next Tekken 7 guest character after Geese Howard. Keeping with Tekken tradition, Noctis is introduced by his full-name from the announcer, which is a nice touch.

The trailer also showed the Hammerhead Garage as a new Tekken 7 stage, complete with Gladio, Ignis, and Prompto in the background with the Regalia and chocobos. Noctis fans will be pleased to know then, that they will soon have even more opportunity to spend time as the character.

Following the announcement made on air during the Tekken 7 World Tour Finals this morning, Bandai Namco released the first screenshots portraying Noctis Lucis Caelum from Final Fantasy XV in the game.

Noctis on the other hand is from Square Enix' Final Fantasy XV.

Tekken 7 is available for the Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Noctis will be available as DLC for Tekken 7 in Spring 2018. Adding new characters after launch keeps players engaged and gives Bandai Namco a way to make money off of downloadable content sales.

Street Fighter's Akuma was also one of the playable characters in the game, but he came standard with every copy.
