Final Fantasy XV's Noctis Announced As Tekken 7 Guest Character

Tekken 7 gets Final Fantasy's Noctis, slowly becoming Smash Bros.

Square Enix and Bandai Namco have partnered to bring an unexpected Final Fantasy x Tekken crossover to the latest fighting game.

A new stage is also being added to Tekken 7: the Hammerhead Garage, one of Final Fantasy XV's most memorable locations and where auto mechanic Cindy resides.

"Tekken 7 is a worthy fighting game that anyone can pick up and play, but also further flawless on a highly technical level". Joining the Tekken 7 roster is none other than Noctis Lucis Caelum from Final Fantasy XV! That's right, the protagonist of Final Fantasy XV is entering the ring of the King of the Iron Fist tournament. Hopefully, this crossing over of characters and genres represents Bandai Namco getting even more bold with future character additions.

Tekken 7 is available now for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Noctis will have multiple weapons, magic and warp strike abilities at his disposal to take on the Tekken 7 cast. He'll join the fighter sometime during Spring 2018. You can see him in action in the gameplay reveal below.

Street Fighter's Akuma was also one of the playable characters in the game, but he came standard with every copy.

At the Tekken World Tour Finals today, Harada had promised there would be an announcement.
