Freeman also suffered a concussion during the preseason, but he did not miss any games.

Freeman (head) was forced out of Sunday's game against the Cowboys in the first quarter, Kelsey Conway of the Falcons' official site reports.

The fact that it's his second concussion of the season that could make it foreseeably more hard for him to get back in practice in time for Sunday's tilt against Seattle.

The Falcons are scheduled to visit the Seahawks at 8:30 p.m. ET for a Monday Night Football showdown.

With Freeman out Sunday, the Falcons got a solid performance from Tevin Coleman (20 yards, 83 yards rushing, 1 touchdown).

Freeman's fantasy owners have plenty of time to plan their Week 11 lineups without him, and maybe make a waiver wire addition if need be.

Being declared out so early in the week is a red flag for Freeman's status beyond Week 11.

The hit on Freeman by Anthony Hitchens appeared to be violent enough to cause a concussion on its own, and Freeman was noticeably dazed after that hit.
