Carrie Underwood broke her wrist and suffered other injuries after falling outside her Nashville home on Friday, November 10. Carrie said, "thanks so much for all the well wishes everybody", and added that she'd be ok.

Underwood also did her part to assure fans that she was OK, tweeting to thank them for their support and to give her husband a shoutout. She even chose to sit it out for the recent Country Rising concert held in Nashville to give herself all the rest she needs.

The 34-year-old singer's representative confirmed the Friday night mishap to The Tennessean newspaper.

Carrie Underwood will be taking a few days off from her sweaty gym sessions while she recovers from injuries sustained during a recent fall.

The American Idol alum continued, "Glad I've got the best hubby in the world to take care of me".

Mike Fisher, her husband since 2010, flew home overnight to be with her, according to People.

At this year's 51st annual CMAs, where seven-time Grammy Award victor Underwood had been nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year, she and Paisley somberly addressed the horrific recent events. The event is raising money for those affected by this year's numerous devastating hurricanes, as well as for victims of the Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting.
