Both Meghan Markle & Patrick J. Adams Are Leaving Suits After Season Seven!

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

After original series cast member Gina Torres left a year ago, she returned in a guest capacity for several episodes.

Adams, who plays fake lawyer-turned-real lawyer Mike Ross on the series, is reportedly looking to pursue other creative avenues beyond "Suits".

The actress/humanitarian spoke out about their relationship publicly for the first time since Prince Harry confirmed they were dating.

Markle and Adam's characters are now engaged in "Suits", prompting show creator Aaron Korsh to tell that their televised wedding may finally happen in the upcoming final episode of Season 7.

A rep for U.S. and UCP declined to comment. The legal drama, which co-stars Gabriel Macht, Rick Hoffman and Sarah Rafferty, has yet to announce Season 8 but is expected to be renewed.

Series creator Aaron Korsh has yet to comment on Adams and Markle's potential exit, but Korsh previously acknowledged that seeing actors exit a long-running series is not new. A source reveals that a possible guest appearance or recurring role for the SAG-nominated actor may be in the works for Season 8. Suits is only a close second to being the highest rated show in the network.

"I went to bed, and woke up in the morning and realized 'Oh, yeah".

It seems like where Markle is concerned, her path to leaving the show has been cleared for a while. Halfway through Season 6, the actress left the show simply because her contract was up and felt the need to spend more time with her family.

"I had this onslaught of people retweeting the thing, people thinking it was a recent picture, and I just thought, 'What the hell is going on?' It was such an innocent moment of sentimentality that was twisted into something totally different".

Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle will not be returning to Suits after season 7.
