Arkansas QB Kelley arrested for drunk driving

University of Arkansas QB Cole Kelley Arrested for DWI

According to the report filed by the Fayetteville Police Department, Kelly, the 20-year-old redshirt freshman, was booked at 8:47 AM on Sunday, November 12, after being arrested.

Arkansas quarterback Cole Kelley was arrested for drunk and careless driving, according to police in Fayetteville, Ark.

Kelley was pulled over at 4:00 a.m. Sunday and taken into custody about 15 minutes later.

The officer reports making contact with Kelley and says his eyes were red and watery.

Razorbacks coach Bret Bielema said in a statement released by the school he was informed of the incident.

Kelley entered Saturday's game against the Tigers in the fourth quarter and completed three of 10 passes for 33 yards and an interception. He started four games earlier this season in place of the injured Austin Allen, who will start against Mississippi State.

As a result, Kelley has been indefinitely suspended from the team.

Kevin Layes said, "No disciplinary actions are happening...with Kelly, I mean nothing is going on with him right now...they haven't said anything about him being suspended". "It's a learning lesson that I hope he takes full advantage of".

Kelley was rated a four-star recruit by ESPN.
