The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are coming to Injustice 2

Injustice 2 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

There's obviously going to be a lot of nostalgia for 90s kids that grew up with the TMNTs, but with the recent resurgence of the franchise in the Michael Bay movie, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows, they're getting a lot of limelight once again.

The Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition and the Injustice 2 Ultimate Pack include a total of nine additional playable characters; three Premiere Skins that transform select fighters into alternate characters with new looks, voices and dialogue; and two exclusive Gear Shaders that enable players to customize the look of their roster with alternate color themes. This time, the studio seems to have done it again with another surprising reveal within Fighter Pack 3. Leonardo jumps in to remind him that the Ninja Turtles "fight as a team".

Get ready for nostalgic overload as NetherRealm has announced that everybody's favourite sewer-dwelling reptiles, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, are heading to Injustice 2. Another option is that you get an individual Turtle to start with, and the others jump in with support moves to help you out, so we'll keep you updated on the mechanics when they're announced. During the convention fans received an action packed trailer which showed off Black Manta a classic DC villain whose nemesis is Aquaman, Raiden a fan favorite from the Mortal Kombat series, and last but not least Hellboy the half demon who took everyone by surprise with his announcement. There's no release date for the pack yet, but Atom is available in early access form on 12th December. Enchantress and the Turtles will follow sometime after that.
