Though Anandan was taken to private hospital in an ambulance, his life could not be saved.

A 23-year-old Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) member was hacked to death in Kerala's Thrissur on Sunday, November 12.

Police said Anandan was the second accused in the murder of CPM worker Kunnamkorath Fasil (21), who was killed four years ago in a fight over wall writing. The state Bharatiya Janata Party has blamed CPI-M workers for the killing.

According to preliminary reports, Anand, who was riding a bike, was first knocked down by a vehicle near Nenmini Balaraman temple.

RSS worker Anandan (28), son of Vadakketharakathu Ambika of Laksham Veedu Colony in Kadavally, was hacked to death near Nenmini Balarama Temple on Sunday afternoon.

"The latest killing again exposed the criminal face of the CPI (M)".

He was an accused of the murder of a CPI (M) worker.

It was reported that Anand was rushed to the Chavakkad Raja hospital. BJP karyakartha Anand murdered brutally in Guruvayur, Thrissur. BJP has claimed that around 120 of its workers across Kerala have been killed since 2001 by Left cadres. We are yet to find how many people were behind the attack. Anandan was allegedly involved in the murder of Mohammed Kasim, which is why his murder today is being termed as a revenge killing.

Police sources said Anandan was on a bike with his friend Vishnu when a auto hit the two-wheeler from behind and the two fell off. The CPM seems to be shocked by the growth of the BJP in Thrissur, and that is why they are indulging in such violence, " BJP district president A Nagesh said.

BJP president Amit Shah even launched a Janaraksha Yatra to highlight "CPI (M) violence and jihadi terror" last month.
