Moto X4 with Dual Rear Camera and IP68 Rating Launched in India

After a long wait, Motorola on Monday finally launched the Moto X4 smartphone in the Indian market.

The Moto X4 comes in two variants- 3GB and 32GB, 4GB and 64GB.

Exclusively avaialble on Flipkart and Moto Hubs across Delhi, Noida, Mumbai, and Kolkata, the device can also be availed at EMI's and buy back values.

The Moto X4 is a mid-range smartphone that boasts a metal body along with a dual camera setup and a near stock Android experience. It has a 5.2-inch display screen, with a resolution of 1080 by 1920 pixels and 424 PPI. The device is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor along with Adreno 508GPU. And when paired with the 3D rear contoured design, an anodized aluminum frame and Corning Gorilla Glass protecting the front and back from scratches, moto X4 is as strong as it is lovely. The Moto X4 is armed with a 3,000mAh battery with fast charging. It features a dual rear camera with an advanced an intelligent camera software, an IP68 water and dust resistant design and a first of its kind audio innovation. The beautifully made smartphone was available for $399.99 in the USA, and now with the entry in India, the device becomes the most powerful one from the company in the recent times, surpassing the Moto Z2 Play. The smartphone will be available for purchase in two color options including Super Black and Sterling Blue, and it appears that a second variant with a different RAM and storage configuration will also be launched in the region.

At the front, the phone has a 16MP camera with F2.0 aperture, accompanied by a single LED flash. We will be testing the Moto X4 over the coming weeks and will soon bring you the full review, stay tuned till then. The home button on the front acts as a fingerprint sensor too. The phone takes advantage of dual cameras to achieve an enhanced bokeh effect. The primary camera contains a 12MP Dual Autofocus Pixel sensor, while the secondary camera has an 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide angle sensor.

The Moto X4 3GB RAM variant is priced at Rs. 20999 and the 4GB variant comes with the price tag of Rs. 22999. Only the main camera is capable of capturing 4K 30fps video. You also get either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage; plus, that storage can be further expanded with memory cards up to 2TB in size.

Moto X4 will sport an anodized aluminium frame coupled with a glass build on the outside. It has dual nano SIM slots, USB type C and 3.5 mm jack as physical ports.
