Today, I-T officials completed 100 hours of search operation at the Jaya TV office.

The massive Income tax raids for the unaccounted wealth of Sasikala and her relatives had entered the third day on Saturday. Items like precious stones and cash were also recovered from unused hostel rooms in Sengamala Thayaar Educational Trust Women's College, owned by V, Divaharan at Sundarakottai in Mannargudi, sources said.

The full volume of cash and documents seized would be known only after the completion of the raid in all the targetted premises. The search operation is still on. Searches were taking in place on these premises for the fourth consecutive day on Sunday. "We are also examining documents of some properties held by benamis", said the official.

"The department waited for the individuals and companies associated with Sasikala to file their tax returns for the year".
