Floor collapses during homecoming party

WOW UNT Homecoming was..... wait for it.... Ground breaking. #UNTCloutComing' shared another

"It was just way too many people in my apartment, I have no idea who these people were", said Abiola Busari, who threw the party in his apartment.

Twelve apartments are still uninhabitable after a floor collapsed at a Denton student complex early Sunday morning.

Glenn says at least 30 people were in the apartment when the floor gave way, although some witnesses and Twitter video of the incident show more people.

Officials say they arrived to the collapse and saw partygoers dangling in between floors. Instead of hosting a platform that could allow a few loud and ugly voices to dominate a conversation, we want to encourage everyone to join us on our social media platforms and speak out there.

Dozens of people are seen crawling on the floor below, while others try to maintain their balance as the third floor crumbles away.

Carroll and her three roommates, all North Texas sophomores, were not home at the time.

"I have nowhere to go".

CBS DFW said the nightmare for students began at around 1:45 a.m. Sunday when the Denton Fire Departments responded to a report of a fire alarm. About 50 people were packed inside for a UNT Homecoming after party jumping up and down and dancing when BOOM!

Carroll told the station she's called the cops on her upstairs neighbors' parties before. In the meantime, she said, the complex will reimburse affected residents who want to stay at the nearby Best Western.

"In the process of making alternate housing arrangements for those students, a local university offered help as well to provide alternate arrangements".
