Devonta Freeman Unlikely to Play vs. Seahawks, Could Miss Multiple Games

The team late announced Freeman has a concussion and would not return to the game.

Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman could miss multiple games after suffering his second concussion of the season in Sunday's win over the Dallas Cowboys. The Falcons pulled a dizzy Freeman off the field, and then Freeman went to the locker room.

The Falcons played the Carolina Panthers in Week 9, and Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis immediately suggested Freeman's concussion on Sunday was not a new injury via a since-deleted tweet. He was concussed in our game last week and should've been taken out. Overall this season, Freeman has rushed for 515 yards and five touchdowns while also catching 19 passes for 137 yards. However, the following season, Freeman broke out, racking up 1,056 yards and a league-leading 11 touchdowns on the ground.

Lee, a first-team All-Pro previous year, left the game in the first quarter because of a hamstring injury and his return was listed as questionable. Freeman had two other reported concussions in his career - one this preseason and one in November 2015.
