We're not done with 2017 flagships just yet, because HTC is rumored to be about to unveil the HTC U11 Plus - that's the follow up to the HTC U11 that launched earlier in the year. Blass asked fans to tone down the excitement saying that the mid-range HTC U11 Life Android One will make its debut on November 2, not the flagship U11 Plus. If the rumours and leaks are to be believed, the HTC U11 Plus would see a significant overhaul in terms of specifications and arrive with a host of improvements. According to the listing, the smartphone boasts a 5.5-inch IPS display with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution and will be backed by a 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Going by the scores achieved by the smartphone, the chipset is Snapdragon 630 itself because Snapdragon 660 SoC offers multi-core scores of over 5500.

The U11 Plus will run Android 8 Oreo out of the box. It retails for around Rs. 15,000, and comes with a 5.5-inch 1080 screen, a 12MP+12MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, and an IR blaster. The HTC U11+ will sport BoomSound speakers along with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

Recently the device has also appeared on TENAA's official website, and the specs of the device are visible there. With all this he HTC U11 Life will be the Android One, that is, it will install a clean Android OS. It will retain the Edge Sense technology and will let go of the 3.5mm audio jack. Now, a benchmark site has listed some details regarding the U11 Life. The listing also reveals that the handset will pack 3GB of RAM, which is in line with earlier reports.

According to a leakster LabTooFeR, the Android O update of the HTC U11 is reaching final stages of the development and the brand might release the latest update by November or early December. Furthermore, it is said to come with a fingerprint sensor embedded into its home button. For connectivity, the HTC U11 Life will support 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz & 5.0GHz), Bluetooth v5.0, Global Positioning System with GLONASS and a USB Type-C port.
