Julia Louis-Dreyfus Completes Second Round of Chemotherapy Amid Breast Cancer Battle

The star announced in September that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer

Julia Louis-Dreyfus' battle with breast cancer is getting ferocious as the 56-year-old actress took to Instagram Thursday with a fierce and amusing selfie. "Today, I'm the one", she wrote on social media.

The Instagram post of Louis-Dreyfus consisted of the actress wearing a black hoodie, blacked out sunglasses and a drawn-on mustache with a tough looking demeanor.

"Chemo #2: finito. We are NOT f--ing around here". Once the chorus hits, the two each hold up signs with versions of the song's lyrics printed on them to reflect Louis-Dreyfus: "You've got the eye of the tiger, a fighter".

Louis-Dreyfus, 56, who set an Emmys record this year with her sixth consecutive victory for her role as Selina Meyer, cited extra inspiration from her "Veep" costars Tony Hale and Timothy Simons, along with pop singer Katy Perry. Prior to the performance, Hale said he would be portraying Louis-Dreyfus, whereas Simons would take on the role of "cancer".

Louis-Dreyfus shared the video, praising their support: "How lucky am I that these bozos have my back?"

Dreyfus got the bad news a day after winning the 2017 Emmy award for outstanding lead actress in a comedy series.

The post continued, "The good news is that I have the most glorious group of supportive and caring family and friends, and fantastic insurance through my union". "Veep's" writers room is still up and running, and the show will adjust production scheduling for her treatments if needed.

"Our love and support go out to Julia and her family at this time", a rep for HBO told E!
