More on Bray Wyatt, Bo Dallas & JoJo Offerman Dealing With Viral Meningitis

The 1996 Olympic gold medalist and pro wrestling superstar will wrestle his first match in WWE at the TLC (Tables, Ladders and Chairs) pay-per-view on Sunday, replacing Roman Reigns in the show's main event, the company announced on Friday.

In a statement to ESPN, a WWE representative said, "We have confirmed that three of our performers have been diagnosed with a viral infection".

That's right, the Raw general manager, who hasn't wrestled for WWE in 11 years, is putting on the singlet again to face The Miz, Sheamus, Cesaro, Kane and Braun Strowman in a 5-on-3 handicap match. Kane's return, The Shield - nostalgia act? It does serve as a minor setback to the Shield reunion angle, but Kurt Angle's official in-ring return is just as big - if not bigger - news.

The 48-year-old, who is the GM of Raw, was added to the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this year.

As for Balor facing Styles, the potential for a great match is stronger in this one than another Balor/Wyatt match - especially one with the hamfisted Demon vs.

Alexie Offerman, mother of WWE announcer JoJo, recently spoke out against reports of her daughter being infected with viral meningitis and said JoJo is not ill. His last-minute return is in many ways a double-edged sword for fans in that it provides increased intrigue this weekend but doesn't have the expected build and fanfare WWE would've preferred for such a momentous occasion.
