Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Nicholas Brendon arrested

A hotel employee allegedly called the police, who arrested Brendon on the spot and charged him with felony domestic violence.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Nicholas Brendon has been arrested after allegedly attacking his girlfriend.

Nicolas Brendon was arrested on October 11 for felony domestic violence after allegedly pulling his girlfriend by her arm and her hair during an argument. The orders apparently allow the 46-year-old actor to be near her, but prohibit him from threatening, harassing, injuring or assaulting her.

It's been two years since his last arrest; another incident with a woman in a hotel room, this time in NY, where he was charged with robbery, criminal mischief and obstruction of breathing.

Citing "personal matters", Brendon and Supanova released a joint statement to The Music saying that they have mutually agreed "that it's best he remain in the United States during this time".

Brendon has been arrested at least three previous times for malicious injury to property, and has spoken candidly about his struggles with depression and alcoholism.

Reps for Nicholas Brendon have been contacted for comment.

Four months later, in February 2015, Brendon was arrested again Fort Lauderdale, Fla., after he caused extensive damage to a hotel room.

In October 2015, the Criminal Minds actor plead guilty to criminal mischief after fighting with his girlfriend - he allegedly grabbed her by the throat and smashed her phone.

Brendon appeared on chat show Dr. Phil twice that year to discuss his arrests and issues with depression and addiction, and checked himself into rehab for 90 days.

E! News reports that Brendon is due in court for his latest charge on November 28.
