Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by seven wickets in the third one-day worldwide in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, taking an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series.

It was a memorable ODI debut for Imam-ul-Haq, nephew of former Pakistan batsman Inzamam-ul-Haq, who scored a century in his first outing for Pakistan. He hit 100 off 125 balls with two sixes and five fours to help Pakistan cruise to 209-3 in 42.3 overs.

Sri Lanka were bowled out for 208 in the third one-day worldwide against Pakistan after winning the toss and choosing to bat in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.

Sri Lanka's woes in ODIs continues to haunt the Side which though just thrashed Pakistan in the longest format of Cricket but in 50-over game, the Islanders are on the verge of losing third consecutive ODI series against green shirts in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The 23-year-old Babar Azam scored Centuries in both ODIs, having become the first batsman in ODI history to score five consecutive Centuries in one Country.

Imam eased the nerves early in Pakistan's run chase with back-to-back boundaries off Lahiru Gamage and struck the same bowler for six over backward point before Dickwella put the left-hander down after he feathered Akila Dananjaya behind.

Imam, replacing out-of-form Ahmed Shehzad at the top order, dominated two productive stands - adding 78 runs with Fakhar Zaman (29) and further 66 with Babar Azam (30). Imam will be 22 in December.
