It Looks Like Aquaman is the Star of Justice League

'Justice League' Hits Tracking With Super $110M-$120M Opening

Justice League was always going to be lighter than the previous DC films and the film's marketing has increasingly embraced that idea of color and wonder, as time has gone by. Today, we bring you another stylish poster, though, it still doesn't feature Superman.

Keeping Superman out of pretty much all the marketing is a move that makes sense and still feel freakish. This poster does, however, have The Flash out front leading the team.

In this week's issues of DC Comics, a Justice League interview with Jason Momoa is posted, which includes Momoa describing Aquaman as a defiant and a loner.

The real world can be quite a dark place at times, so it's not hard to understand exactly why the colourful and entertaining superhero universes we see on a plethora of entertainment platforms have gained such fame.

Justice League sees Bruce Wayne still dealing with the death of Superman, following their battle with Doomsday at the end of Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. There's a good chance that's something we'll see, but Warner trying to keep it a secret.

The promotion of the Justice League is still poor. Aquaman is hitting theaters on on December 21, 2018. At the time, nobody at Warner Bros., including director Zack Snyder, could have imagined how divisive the movie would be. In it, he gets us hyped for the Scarlet Speedster's inclusion, showing us that this is a somewhat more comical take on Barry Allen that a percentage of the fan base has become acquainted with. "But you gotta wait until we get to the solo movie to really know". In any case, one thing is for sure, if the latest trailer of Justice League fell a few days ago and gave us a little hope, these new posters give us confidence not really.
