One of Stranger Things' biggest mysteries has been solved.

Turns out the final trailer for Stranger Things' second season wasn't so final after all.

So, will season two see Eleven get back to her roots and finally meet her mother?

Eleven's fate was left unresolved after her showdown fight with the Demogorgon in Hawkins Middle School to close out previous year. He traces it back to the lab where Eleven and the other ten missing children were experimented upon, which is also the place where the entry into the Upside Down is. There's a telltale trickle of blood emanating from her nose indicating the use of her mind powers.

In the new clip though, it's confirmed that she has been in the Upside Down, looking for a way out. The season will feature Will (Noah Schnapp) suffering from PTSD thanks to his time in the Upside Down, while Hopper tries to cover up the events of the first season to help protect Will and Joyce (Winona Ryder).

During the Season 2 red carpet premiere on October 26, guests will be able to visit an Eggo waffle food truck offering custom waffle dishes, decorated with spooky lighting and staffed by servers in get-ups drawn from the show's 1980's period setting. New cast additions include Sadie Sink, Dacre Montgomery, Brett Gelman, newcomer Linnea Berthelsen, and Sean Astin, and Paul Reiser.

To hold us over before the October 27th premiere, Stranger Things will be releaisng the full soundtrack for the show for digital consumption, followed by a vinyl and cassette release.
