Victor Garber to exit Legends of Tomorrow

As of now, it looks like there are no plans for him to be in season four - but given that the show is about time travel, there's always a chance he could come back. Martin Stein in the time-traveling DC Comics-based series, will be exiting the show sometime this year, according to a report by Deadline. The studio and network are not confirming but it seems inevitably true considering the amount of time to go into a Broadway production.

The Legends of Tomorrow will get a little bit smaller in Season Three as one of the series regulars will soon be leaving the cast.

Garber, who was a Tony-nominated theater actor long before he ventured into televised nerdery, is leaving the show to join Bernadette Peters to lead the Broadway revival of Hello Dolly! Stein originally became Firestorm with Ronnie Raymond on The Flash, meeting Jackson later when his life was jeopardized by Raymond's death.

The episode will feature, via IMDB, Arthur Darvill, Victor Garber, Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Franz Drama, Amy Pemberton, Nick Zano, Dominic Purcell, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Christa Andersen, Tala Ashe, Nickolas Baric, Lincoln Hall, C. Ernst Harth, Brad Kelly and Paul Lazenby.

A Broadway run is a big undertaking, involving a six day a week schedule and 7-8 shows a week.

There's no official word on which episode will be his last, but he does not intend to return for any more episodes in the third season after he leaves, despite keeping his series regular credit on the show.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
