The Honor 7X goes Fullview display with dual cameras

The Honor 7X is powered by a new Huawei SoC, the Kirin 659.

The camera is another standout feature; a dual-sensor primary appears to be using a similar setup to what will show up on the Huawei Mate 10 Lite; a 16MP and 2MP combo, plus a solo 8MP secondary on the front. Price starts at 1299 Yuan (roughly Rs 12,868.80) and goes all the way up to 1699 Yuan (roughly Rs 16,829.41) and 1999 Yuan (roughly Rs 19,801.06) respectively, with market availability from October 17. The two "Os" seem to be signifying a dual camera setup. There's a fingerprint scanner present at the back side of the phone, and the device weighs 165grams. Honor 7x comes with improved specifications over its predecessor.

Now, with a year gone since it was launched, the Chinese OEM has unveiled its successor, the Huawei Honor 7X. The smartphone sports a 5.93-inch display with Full HD+ resolution (2160 x 1080 pixels) and an 18:9 aspect ratio.

As its name strongly implies, the WaterPlay is water-resistant, adhering to the IP67 standard in fact.

The Honor 7X is priced at CNY 1,300 for 32GB, CNY 1,700 for 64GB and CNY 2,000 for 128GB variants. There are four cameras, two on the front and two on the back of the Honor 9i, while for the Honor 8 Pro, it is three cameras, two on the back and one on the front. With such grand storage capacity, it runs with Android 7.1 Nougat with EMUI 5.1. A 3,340mAh battery with fast charging keeps it running. Available in several colors corps, including the presented on the render is dark blue and gold banal.

A day after Xiaomi launched the Mi Mix 2 in India, Honor has teased an imminent bezel-less smartphone launch soon.
