Conte plays down Italy talk and insists he´s happy at Chelsea

Antonio Conte

"My family stay here, not in Italy".

Conte had been linked with a move back to Italy and in particular AC Milan following translated reports, he claims were incorrect, had labelled him "homesick".

"Our job is hard because you have a lot of pressure every season and you think maybe I need a bit of rest, but when you have the rest after one month you want to work", he said. My daughter is going to school here.

Conte spoke publicly of missing both several times last season, but after confirming on Friday that they are now living in a house in Cobham as a family, he added that he is very happy they will now get to share the "fantastic experience" of life in London with him.

"Every coach, when they start, they work with the club and hope they will stay for a long time and build something important". "Last season they lived very far away, so my feelings were only through the phone".

"I did an interview two weeks ago and I'm sure the translation was wrong, because in the interview I only said that one day in the future I would like to go back to Italy - one day in the future".

If Milan don't experience a good level of success this season, which presumably means qualifying for the Champions League at the very least, Montella's position may not be as tenable as it now is. I like to have this great feeling with our supporters.

"Last season I prefer to stay at home or take a taxi to go to a restaurant, now I take the vehicle and sometimes we go to London or Kingston or to discover new restaurants". I have two years of my contract and I am happy to work at this club.

"Our job is hard because you have a lot of pressure every season and there is a loss you, think "maybe I need a bit of rest".

"When you write something it is important to write the truth".
