Revamped CS:GO Dust 2 Map Returns to Competitive Play

All of these memories are about to become subtly altered though, as Valve has announced that a new and improved version of the map is going to be included in the next CS:GO Beta release. Nearly every section of the new Dust 2 map has received visual overhauls that make it a lot more appealing to see. At the time of writing, Valve has not specified a time-frame, but expectations are it will arrive in the next few weeks. According to the released information, the updated version will debut in the next CS: GO beta depot.

Dust 2 has been out of CS: GO's Active Duty rotation since February. When Dust II returns to competitive play, another map will be removed so that the map updating cycle can continue.

With all of the map updates, Valve has also made a decision to treat fans by overhauling the villains of Dust II, the Leet Krew.
