Blizzard is known for Overwatch's seasonal events, which always bring exclusive game modes, cosmetics and more to the first-person shooter.

The good people at Overwatch have unveiled the trailer for the new Halloween seasonal event, "Overwatch Halloween Terror", and it's delightfully spooky.

As well as the original version of Junkenstein's Revenge, this year's event also features a new endless mode variant - known as Endless Night - plus leaderboards to commemorate the longest runs against Junkenstein's diabolical army. To see the full videos of each, check out Blizzard's official event page for Halloween Terror.

More than 50 new skins have been added to the game, including eight legendary ones.

When is Overwatch's Halloween Terror event?

Last year, we got three new Halloween emotes include Winston making some shadow puppets with his gorilla feet, Reinhardt smashing a pumpkin with his huge Rocket Hammer, and Ana daintily dropping candy around her feet for all the kids to enjoy. They're discounted from their typical 3x credit price down to typical prices, so if you didn't get skins like Junkenstein a year ago, they're now cheaper!

Classic Summer Games skins cost 1,000 credits, instead of the 3,000 credits it usually takes to unlock limited Legendary skins.

That's compared to 3,000 credits for the brand new skins available for the likes of McCree and Reaper.

The return of Overwatch's Halloween event, like Summer Games 2017, brings back skins from last year's edition, including favorites such as Witch Mercy, Dr. Junkenstein Junkrat, and Junkenstein's Monster Roadhog.

"Now Junkenstein plans his revenge against the Lord of Adlersbrunn, and only four heroes stand in the way".

There was also a new arena in Sydney, so it's possible we'll have a new map to keep Junkenstein's Revenge feeling fresh for returning players.

Blizzard is yet to announce pricing and event details, so stay tuned for more information.
