The smartphone is powered by the octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor with four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 2.36GHz and other four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.7GHz. There are two storage variants available: 32GB or 128GB, also there is no MicroSD card slot, but it does have a hybrid dual SIM slot - for those of you who need it. The Honor 7X features a duo of 16MP and 2MP rear cameras and an 8MP front-facing camera.

All three will be available in China from 17 October at quite ridiculous prices considering the spec. The dual camera setup, in case of the Honor 7X, consists of a 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel setup assisted with phase detection autofocus and LED flash.

Here's what you can expect from the Honor 7X.

Honor has unveiled the Honor 7X at an event in China. Besides, the Honor 6X from past year too sported dual rear cameras, but Huawei subsidiary Honor is bringing yet another sought after feature to its latest mid range device, the Honor 7X.

We will only know more about the device once it is launched on 5 December, and it will be interesting to see what Honor has to offer. The hashtag in the bottom corner also seems to be used for devices with dual-sensor cameras. But then, the camera combination on the back is better on the Honor 8 Pro as it comes with two 12-megapixel cameras, one with a color sensor and another one being a monochrome one.

The software package is Android Nougat 7.1 with Huawei's Emotion UI on top, build EMUI 5.1. It packs a 3,340 mAh Battery. Apparently, the base model of 32GB is priced at 1299 Yuan, which is about $200, while the 64GB model is priced at 1699 Yuan, an equivalent of about $260.
