Erik Lamela, Danny Rose injury boost as pair train with Tottenham teammates

While Danny Rose is only just returning from injury the news is still not great for Spurs fans.

Since then, he has been openly seeking out a move away from the London club, demanding wages that are more than what he now pockets.

The 27-year-old, who has not played since January due to a knee injury, angered Spurs officials in August when he did a newspaper interview in which he criticised the club's transfer policy, wage structure and lack of silverware.

According to Jeremy Cross in the Daily Star, United manager Jose Mourinho is "confident" he can land Englishman Rose for £45 million next year, while the defender is aware he could double his wages with a move to Manchester.

Rose, 27, is nearly certain to be included in Gareth Southgate's World Cup squad provided he remains fit for the rest of the season.

As per the StarSport, Rose is on Chelsea's list of potential options to provide competition for Marcos Alonso at left-wing-back. Already this season four different players have operated in the role-Ashley Young, Matteo Darmian, Daley Blind and Luke Shaw.

However, it looks like Conte is in for disappointment again as the newspaper says the left-back has already made a decision to snub Chelsea's advances in order to join United. However, Rose is notoriously good when deployed there, and has also proven to be quite beneficial for attacking runs, a result of brilliant swiftness and agility. This shouldn't pose too much of a problem, as the Red Devils will be more than eager to splash the cash and land a player of his quality in a bid to ensure their return to footballing dominance.
