Eminem, the rapper who built a deeply problematic career by portraying a misogynistic villain, is letting the world know via freestyle that he actually "f*cking hate [s]" President Donald Trump and disavows everything the president's been doing.

In The Storm, given the name in reference to the USA president's cryptic "calm before the storm" remark about global events, Eminem criticises Mr Trump on issues including North Korea, aid, immigration, the NFL (National Football League) and white supremacy.

The rapper gave the ultimatum during a four and half minute video played Tuesday night at the BET Awards.

Highlights included lines like "what we got in office now's a kamikaze/That'll probably cause a nuclear holocaust" and "he attacks the National Football League so we focus on that/Instead of talking Puerto Rico or gun reform for Nevada/All these frightful tragedies and he's bored and would rather/Cause a Twitter storm with the Packers". "All these tragedies and he's bored and would rather cause a Twitter storm with the Packers", part of the freestyle went.

Those national anthem protests began a year ago with Kaepernick, and Eminem gave the quarterback a shoutout.

The video has received mixed reviews on social media.

While there's plenty of support for Eminem's takedown of Trump, some feel the rapper's own history of vulgar and misogynistic lyrics toward women makes him a controversial mouthpiece for the message. "Any fan of mine who's a supporter of his, I'm drawing in the sand a line-you either for or against" he said.
