Oh deer! Arby's rolls out venison sandwiches nationwide

Arby's offering limited edition venison sandwiches again Oct. 21

There are more than 3,300 Arby's locations in the US but it not known how many sandwiches each location will receive.

The venison sandwiches, previously offered at select restaurants in six states in 2016, will be sold October 21 at all 3,300 Arby's restaurants across the USA, according to the company. This year, it is expected to be in all Arby's locations on October 21 until supplies run out.

"On October 21, we want hunters and meat enthusiasts across the country to visit their local Arby's and enjoy this incredible sandwich". Arby's will also release a limited-edition Elk Sandwich, available in three restaurants in Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana.

"If people are interested in trying the sandwich, the only way to guarantee they can get one is to get there when we open or a little before and make sure they are in line, just like the folks past year", Chief Marketing Officer Jim Taylor suggested, USA Today reported.

Building on the mainstream success of the Venison Sandwich, Arby's is launching a new limited time offering on the same day in three select locations.

This year, the thick-cut deer meat, marinated in garlic and topped with a juniper-infused Cabernet steak sauce and crispy onions will be available in all states for a limited time.

Taylor said the company used social media and feedback from hunters and wild game enthusiasts to create the venison and elk sandwiches.

Last year, the sandwich was only available at 17 locations across the country.

Sometimes you're not in the mood for a fast-food burger and you instead want to order the. deer? This sandwich is made with a tender elk steak and topped with blackberry port steak sauce and crispy onions.
