Maryland man clings to bus after object reportedly thrown at auto

The incident took place around 3:15 p.m.'in the area of Putty Hill and Hoerner avenues in Parkville' according to a report

They said that about 3:15 p.m. on Thursday officers were called to a county intersection to investigate a disturbance.

A Maryland man was charged with disturbing the peace and destruction of property after he jumped onto the hood of a moving school bus.

"A school bus traveling from Loch Raven Middle School was in traffic, it was sitting next to another vehicle".

Police in Baltimore say they have made an arrest in a weird case of road rage involving a school bus full of students. He banged on the doors and tried to get inside, police said. At that point, the driver of that vehicle got out of his vehicle.

A man who thought students threw a plastic bottle at his vehicle was so angry he attempted to climb on the bonnet of a moving school bus to berate them.

"You could tell those kids were extremely terrified".

Susan Copenhaver's grandchildren were on the bus at the time of the incident. "Some were even huddled together holding onto each other", she says.

"As the bus is driving away, the gentleman is literally pounding away, punching, and kicking the bus". He beat his fists against the bus and yelled as the driver slowly began inching the bus forward.

Police say they were able to apprehend and arrest Doran.

Court records show 68-year-old Leverne Doran faces four charges including disorderly conduct.
