IOS 11.0.3 Released

IOS 11.0.3 Released

The update, just like the ones before it, fixes some bugs which iPhone and iPad users might have been facing.

iOS 11.0.3 also addresses "an issue where touch input was unresponsive on some iPhone 6s displays because they were not serviced with genuine Apple parts".

The update was a 278.2MB download as an over-the-air (OTA) update on iPhone 7.

Apple has released the third update to iOS since it's release less than a month ago, and this one contains some very specific, and rather odd, bug fixes.

"Non-genuine replacement displays may have compromised visual quality and may fail to work correctly", Apple said in the update.

App developer Felix Krause pointed out this design flaw in Apple's iOS 11. Federighi, who often presents new products and features on stage at Apple's famous keynotes, went on to state that the gesture would return in a future iOS update, but didn't provide any timeline or further details.

"As a result, users are trained to just enter their Apple ID password whenever iOS prompts you to do so".

Since the release of iOS 11, Apple has been regularly releasing non-beta tested updates to fix issues with its new operating system.

"This is a tricky problem to solve, and web browser are still tackling it; you still have websites that make pop-ups look like macOS / iOS popups, so that many users think [they are] system message [s]". As such, beyond the bug fixes, there aren't any remarkable, user-facing changes to the iOS 11 experience in these last few updates.

Like it or not, emojis are an important Apple trademark, and they have inspired various others tech companies, sometimes to the point of imitation.

The update is now available as a free, over-the-air update for all eligible iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices.

To obtain the update, simply go to Settings General Software Update on your iOS device.
