Huawei Maimang 6 announced in China: Price, Specs and more


A couple of days ago Evan Blass leaked the Huawei Maimang 6 (G10) and further added that this would be known as the Mate 10 Lite outside of China. It is priced at 2399 yuan (US$ 364 / Rs. 23,600) and is available for pre-order today with shipping planned for this month's 30th.

The device also features a metallic unibody design, and beneath that is a Kirin 659 octa-core chip with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The Huawei Maimang 6 features a 5.9-inch Full JD+ display with 1080x2160 pixels resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.

Regarding the other specifications of Maimang 6, this phone contains a dual-SIM (hybrid) support. The backside of the phone has a dual-tone LED flash enabled dual camera setup that comprises of 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. The volume up-down keys and power-key/lock button are all placed on the right-hand edge of the devices and a 3.5mm audio jack is placed on the very bottom edge of the phone.

However, the highlight of the Huawei Maimang 6 is definitely the dual camera setup at the front and back of the phone. It is a 4G VoLTE smartphone and features WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and NFC as the standard connectivity options. A couple of lenses at the rear as usual in modern devices and an unusual dual-shooter residing at the front. The phone will available on 30 September. Huawei has hyped up the Mate 10 series after unveiling the Kirin 970 back in August and showed off the chipset's AI capabilities.

Huawei is reportedly gearing up to introduce the Maimang 6 smartphone on the global stage as the Mate 10 Lite. Rumors are rife that the smartphone would be debuting globally as Huawei Mate 10 Lite in October. As we mentioned, the smartphone also features a rear-mounted fingerprint recognition button for biometric authentication process.
