Pak terrorists killed in BSF fire

Pakistani intruders have been gunned down by BSF troops in Punjab

The Border Security Force (BSF) today foiled an infiltration bid across International Boundary in Ajnala sector near Amritsar, Punjab. The firing continued for about one hour 45 minutes.

Pakistan Rangers fought with heavy arms, throwing mortar bombs and automatic arms, and shelled the troops with lighter arms.

Kishori Lal and his wife were admitted to Ramgargh Hospital, while Gurdev Singh was taken to GMC Hospital in Jammu. After several rounds of firing, the infiltrators were neutralised.

A woman died and five others were injured in the shelling on Saturday night. On September 16, Pakistani troops targeted Indian border outposts and hamlets along the IB in Jammu district.

The firing which is going on for the past one week has affected the villagers living nearby. Three livestock were killed in the overnight shelling.

One army jawan lost his life on Wednesday after Pakistan violated ceasefire in Jammu and Kashmir's Keran Sector. According to reports, BSF troops retaliated strongly, resulting in exchange of fire in which all 7 Pakistanis were killed.
