OnePlus 5 Jean-Charles de Castelbajac Limited Edition model goes official

The new look is part of a limited edition new run

The limited-edition OnePlus 5 will be available in Europe initially, and probably it will not be coming to India.

OnePlus is tying up with Colette once again, this time releasing a new designer edition of the OnePlus 5 - designed by Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. "It's been great collaborating with an icon like Jean-Charles Castelbajac, who is continuously bringing game-changing ideas to the fashion industry".

On top of that, the phone's back has been adorned with a piece of text which reveals what OnePlus and Castelbajac's were trying to achieve with the limited edition OnePlus 5 - to combine technology, art, and fashion.

This is evidenced on the back part of the phone where there is various cursive words written on it, and the buttons where the power button is now blue, while the sound profile button is in yellow, and a red volume rocker.

The OnePlus 5JCC+ will be sold in Paris on the 22nd of September at a pop up event at the fashion boutique Colette. The new design, dubbed the "Callection", will feature a combination of a company that "never settles" and the designer who has been called the "King of Unconventional".

OnePlus will make the products available for purchase starting October 2 in the EU.

Talking about the collaboration, Castelbajac said, "I always like looking towards the future". It offers 8GB of RAM along with 128GB of storage space and runs on the Snapdragon 835 processor. "In India, the accessories line will be available for purchase via or through referral points on, starting at October 2", said OnePlus.
