Exclusive Crunched for cash Flipkart likely to raise debt

The official sources of Flipkart say that the users will enjoy a 90% discount on nearly all deals.

Amazon has partnered with 11 banks and Bajaj Finance service to offer a range of discounts including EMIs and cashback. So, it is recommended that you visit Flipkart in advance and take a look at the products those will be available at discount during the four-day sale.

This offers will be revealed on the day the actual sale begins, till then you can only suspect what the real cost will be after a huge discount of 50% and 20% minimum, on these products. There will be added benefit for the Amazon prime members including one-day early access to the sale, flash sales on mobile phones and extra cashback offers. There are deals on smartphones from brands like Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi, Apple, and Motorola. Newly launched Honour 6X and Honour 8 Pro are also available at with special deals during the 4-day long sale bonanza.

In addition, the company is promoting its postcard feature, Lifafa (meaning envelope in Hindi), by giving a surprise gift to every buyer who shops during its sale. Amazon is also introducing a new exchange offer of smartphones for any other appliance like washing machines, refrigerators, TVs, laptops, tablets, and ACs. Moreover, this is the 2nd generation device from Google, so it's a great deal overall; if you want to watch Youtube videos on your Big Screen and make it smart. The Big screens will be available at 70,000 off.

When contacted, Flipkart spokesperson Sandeep Karwa who is heading the company's appliances category said, "Flipkart created the online market for televisions and is today the largest retailer of TVs in India (offline + online)". Smart TV's comes with 20% discount prices.

Well, apart from the EMI on the debit cards, Flipkart is also offering a festive pass. The users will enjoy discounts on spending more than Rs 500 on these items. It has also built an independent logistics and warehousing network for large appliances, which it didn't have previous year, indicating it will push Flipkart close in sales of smartphones and televisions. "There will be a little bit of cash crunch also, which is why this is a good time to bring in cards and EMI offers", Bhargava added.
