Kevin Durant Apologizes for 'Childish' and 'Idiotic' Tweets

Kevin Durant apparently tried to use a fake Twitter account to defend himself, slam Thunder

"I do regret using my former coach's name, and my former organization that I played for".

Tuesday at a Tech Crunch event, he owned up to it, saying what he did was "childish. idiotic". I do regret doing that.

"I don't think I'll stop engaging with fans", Durant said.

However, Durant said he'll scale back a "little bit right now" on his social media activities and just focus on playing basketball.

Someone tweeted at Durant and asked him to give a legitimate reason for leaving the Oklahoma City Thunder outside of winning a championship.

Durant, who left the Thunder to sign with the Golden State Warriors last summer, had harsh words about the franchise that he seemed to accidentally send from his main Twitter account.

Shortly after the tweets were posted, they were deleted from Durant's account. "Kd can't win a championship with those cats", the tweet read.

Kevin Durant recently revealed how hard the first few days were for him after he announced he would join the Golden State Warriors.

"None of this is possible unless he's playing basketball". Most of the time, Klein said they'll go after a company if they believe it's doing something that "we can really use in our life".

K.D. I'm one of your biggest fans, but this explanation does not explain why you tweeted like you weren't tweeting from your official account. "They see how much these startups have affected the world in general, and I think they want to be a part of change".

"That was just me being a total (expletive) idiot".

Once that tweet created a social media stir, Durant said he "was pretty upset with myself". You can take what you want from it, do what you want with it, but it happened. I woke up, had charged my phone, and I just happened to look on Twitter. He also took things a step further by noting that he's so distraught by all of this that he hasn't eaten or slept.
