Google may have accidentally leaked details about its Pixel 2

Google Home and Amazon Echo Dot

Credit: DroidLifeHere's what we know, courtesy of reports from DroidLife, leading up to Google's October 4 press event. Google will sell the 64GB model of the phone for $649 ($27.04/month) and the 128GB model of the phone for $749 ($31.21/month). We have what are claimed to be images of both new flagship Android Oreo devices. In addition, it has revealed some information on the arrival of Active Edge for Google Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2.

It seems Google is owning the "Panda Nexus" tag and going with a Black and White colour option this year, although there does appear to be a splash of colour there with a red power button (that looks Hawt!).

Google may be releasing a smaller version of the Google Home.

Meanwhile, Google Home may have just gotten a hell of a lot more adorable. Further, there are many other design changes that we have seen just by looking at the images. The refreshed Daydream VR will reportedly be available in three colors called "charcoal, fog, and coral".

I actually love the look of this new device, if these are accurate leaks, and will look forward to checking it out in person.

Meanwhile, the new Daydream View headset will cost $99, according to a separate report.

While Google is reportedly set to announce the new Home Mini on October 4, when the device will become available is unknown. Routines seems to be a new feature for Google Assistant that will allow it carry out multiple tasks simultaneously by saying a phrase to it. The hand-friendly controller is also making a return and will most likely reside in an interior compartment found along the front flap.
