Sharing Instagram Stories Directly With Friends Just Got Easy

When the original story disappears from the feed, you will no longer see that story in your Inbox which means the story will be disappeared from your Inbox as well. In line with adding quality features and releasing updates that will make Stories more attractive to people, Instagram is now making it possible for you to share a story through Direct messages. The new uploading tool allows businesses to upload stories and use stickers, face filters, geofilters and drawing tools on their ads.

Stories have quickly grown to be a central part of the Instagram experience.

While the feature is rolling out globally in version 11.0 as we speak, it might take a few weeks before it reaches all users across the globe. If someone has private accounts only his/her followers will be able to see the story through Direct messages. Now choose a friend you want to share a story to and hit send. However, given the popularity of Stories, Instagram thought it would make sense for its users to share their finds with their friends. As is the case with all stories, they last for 24 hours only so if the recipient doesn't check it before the time is up, they won't be able to view it.

May be for these reasons, Instagram has also added an option for users to disable the Story sharing through Direct Messaging feature. Facebook's betting big on the potential to monetise Stories, built around ephemeral in-the-moment sharing, after observing massive growth in the feature since it launched past year.

- Instagram is announcing several new features for advertisers on Tuesday, September 12.

Basically, Instagram stories are made of Images or Videos, just select the button given at the bottom of the story at the right corner.

Globally, over 250 million people watch and create stories everyday while the application now has almost 700 million users globally. Click on to the Send button. Instagram Stories now offers marketers another way of pushing their message to a developing audience.
