Chyna shares 10-month-old daughter Dream Renée with Kardashian, as well as 4½-year-old son King Cairo with rapper Tyga.

Kardashian's attorney, Robert Shapiro, said he was also unaware of any investigation regarding Dream. "We have not received notice of any DCFS filing nor have we been able to find any in the court files", Bloom said.

"The hearing on our restraining order remains on calendar for September 18".

Kardasian's legal team did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

While the formerly engaged couple called it quits last December, TMZ reports that DCFS got involved before Rob, 30, and Chyna, 29, broke up.

The DCFS's investigation results are unknown at the moment, but Chyna appears to be in good health as she has posted several photos on Instagram of herself and Dream. Whatever agreement is hashed out could sit as an unofficial one for a little while yet, because of that open case in Dependency Court. Aside from picking up money from hosting gigs at popular night spots, Chyna is also working on a rap career.

"This is another delay tactic on his part to stall or try and make Chyna give in to his demands", the source said.

Chyna was arrested for drug possession after police officers allegedly found two ecstasy pills in her sunglasses case at Austin International Airport in Texas in early 2016.

A second source told PEOPLE that Kardashian was "basically told to shut up and lay low until he and Chyna come to an agreement".

"There have been concerns that he will lose custody", they explained. When the man best known for being a member of reality TV's most famous family blew up on social media after he caught Chyna in bed with another guy, all hell broke loose. "It could be devastating for him".

Our sources say Rob believes Chyna can handle parental responsibilities.
