Rishi Kapoor takes to Twitter to give 'dynasty lessons' to Rahul Gandhi

Rishi Kapoor Takes A Dig At Rahul Gandhi's Dynast Remark

Actor Rishi Kapoor took to Twitter to give Rahul Gandhi a piece of his mind, and ended up getting trolled instead.

Actor Rishi Kapoor appears to have taken umbrage at Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi mentioning Bollywood while talking about dynasty politics during his speech at the University of California, Berkeley on Tuesday.

Rishi, of course, belongs to the Kapoor family, the family that has its name in the Guinness World Records for providing the maximum number of actors. He talks about the rising radicalism in India, polarisation in politics and rise of non-tolerance towards other communities. Akhilesh Yadav is a dynasty, Mr Stalin (DMK supremo M Karunanidhi's son) is a dynasty, and Mr (Prem Kumar) Dhumal's son (Anurag Thakur of the BJP) is a dynasty. "Even Mr Abhishek Bachchan is a dynast, also Mr Ambani, that's what happens in India". Liberal journalists being shot, people being lynched because they are Dalits, Muslims killed on suspicion of eating beef, this is new in India and damages India very badly. That's also going on in Infosys.

Rahul said that India is now trying to connect with 1.3 billion people into the global economy with minimum disruption possible in a peaceful way and if this process breaks down, the potential for violence would be massive.

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, who is on a tour to the United States, said on Twitter, "Congratulations NSUI on a stellar performance and presidential win in DUSU!". By God's grace, we are in 4 generations. Prithviraj Kapoor. Raj Kapoor. Randhir Kapoor. Ranbir Kapoor - Males.

"You see otherwise. So don't bull**it people on "dynasty".

- Rishi Kapoor (@chintskap) September 12, 2017So don't bullshit people on "Dynasty" You have to earn people's respect and love through hard work not zabardasti and gundagardi.

He wrote, "Change Gandhi family assets named by Congress.Bandra/Worli Sea Link to Lata Mangeshkar or JRD Tata link road".

The plan behind "democratisation" of Congress's youth outfits - elections of office-bearers in NSUI and Youth Congress - was driven by the idea that merit and skills would decide a leader. Why Indira G airport global?

A parody account of Vijay Mallya poked fun at Rishi Kapoor for being a living example of nepotism and extending the blame on Rahul Gandhi for it. "As superficial! What say?", he had said.
